Training
The Practice is an appointed
general practitioner training practice and as such we benefit from having GP
Registrars, FY2 Doctors and Medical Students regularly with us. As from the
beginning of
December
the Practice has 2
doctors undergoing training; Dr Yolande Knight and Dr Gordana Ninkovic-Chapman (ST2
Doctors). Both will be under the supervision of Dr Gurner. An explanation of
their titles can be found on the Training
page of this website.
Carers Support Service
Do you look after someone that could not manage without your help?
This could be caring for a relative, partner, child, neighbour or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems. Anyone can become a carer, carers come from all walks of life, all cultures and can be of any age.
Becoming a carer can be rewarding, but also overwhelming and demanding, it may also lead to feelings of isolation.
The Practice understands that few of us plan to become carers, so when a caring role starts, every carer needs an expert to guide them through the maze of services, rules and entitlements. For a carer, this can make the difference between keeping and losing their job, or between staying healthy and collapsing under the stress.
Cuckfield Medical Practice actively recognises the work of the Carers Support Service and aims to work effectively with them to develop, promote and deliver a high quality service for carers.
If you feel that you could benefit from this service please phone the surgery or
come in where we can give you information or pass on your details to the team.
