How to access your GP Practice:
The Practice is open as normal, however we ask patients only to attend at the Practice if you have an appointment, otherwise contact via phone, e-mail, SystmOne on-line etc. We have installed a new door entry system at both Cuckfield Medical Practice and The Vale Surgery. This has been installed to ensure that both patients and staff are kept as safe as possible during these current times. If you have been asked to come in to the surgery by a member of staff, or you have a pre-arranged appointment with one of our clinicians, please use the intercom situated in the entrance lobby of each surgery building to speak to our receptionist who will let you in. Unfortunately you will not be allowed into the building for any other reason or to speak to our receptionist in person at the desk.
For any other enquires you will need to telephone us or you can send an email to email@example.com.
Any samples, prescriptions requests or paperwork that cannot be emailed can still be left in the boxes situated in the entrance lobbies.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, including but not restricted to temperature, cough, loss of taste or smell, then DO NOT COME to the Practice. If you have tested positive or are living with someone who has tested positive – DO NOT COME to the Practice. Please contact the Practice to re-arrange your appointment.
These are unprecedented times and we are prioritising the workload based on clinical need. Less urgent queries will be dealt with but there will be delays in accessing appointments, so please do bear with us.
Due to the current climate we are experiencing a very high volume of calls. If your query is not urgent please consider contacting at another time. Alternatively, you can use NHS 111, E-consult or Livi for a video consultation, full details can be found on this website.
There are telephone consultations available to book online. Please note that telephone consultations are not time specific, if you book a slot between 8:30am and 12:30pm we will aim to call you in the morning and if you book a slot between 3pm and 6pm we will aim to call you in the afternoon. Please do not call the Practice back to chase your phone call as this makes our incoming calls busier and leads to further delays.
Information regarding common ailments, to make a prescription request, to register with the practice and to book or cancel an appointment are all available on this website.
Due to the extraordinary high call volume, it will take longer for your call to be answered. We have put on additional receptionists to take your calls, however there will be delays in answering and we ask that you are patient and polite when your call is answered.
